Congratulations on your decision to further your education!
The first step to be eligible for the Valley Promise is to complete the Pledge by June 1 of your senior year of high school. Students who do not meet the June 1 deadline will not be eligible to receive Valley Promise benefits such as scholarships, mentoring opportunities, and internships.
Graduates from participating high schools meeting eligibility criteria will receive a “last dollar” tuition-free scholarship for up to eight (8) semesters to South Texas College. This scholarship will cover any tuition gap between what classes cost and what Pell grants and/or other federal, state, or institutional aid does not. To learn more about your eligibility criteria and ongoing programmatic support, visit www.valleypromise.org.
Note: All Valley Promise information and updates will be sent to the email you list on your Pledge form. If your contact information changes, let us know by emailing valleypromise@southtexascollege.edu.
The Valley Promise can only be used at a participating college or university; however, completing the Pledge does not commit you to attending a partner institution. For a full list of participating colleges and universities, visit www.valleypromise.org.
